OUR STORY

Andromeda Films is a production company based in Los Angeles,

founded by filmmaker Joshua Yuzon.

Joshua’s interest in filmmaking began at the age of 11, after he discovered

behind-the-scenes featurettes on the DVDs he owned.

Seeing how films were made — from sets and cameras to lighting and editing — sparked an early curiosity that quickly turned into hands-on experimentation.

He began creating short films using toys,

which gradually evolved into projects made with friends and collaborators

throughout middle school and high school.

As those early projects became more ambitious, Joshua immersed himself in filmmaking both creatively and technically — writing scripts, studying films,

and gaining experience through school programs and independent projects.

By his late teens, he was working on student films and small productions

in any role available, learning how sets function and

how ideas translate into finished work.

At 21, Joshua worked at the renowned ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood — a defining period that became, in many ways, his film school. The theater was a hub for world-famous filmmakers and actors, regularly hosting screenings and Q&As

attended by filmmakers Joshua had admired and studied for years.

Being surrounded by these filmmakers, and frequently crossing paths

with figures such as Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, and Martin Scorsese, reinforced both the craft and discipline behind professional filmmaking.

Today, Andromeda Films partners with brands, creators, and businesses

on projects of all sizes — from single-day shoots to ongoing content systems. Founded on over a decade of experience across commercials,

branded content, music videos, podcasts, live events, digital media, and more

the company focuses on flexible, full-service production that scales with each project. While rooted in Los Angeles, Andromeda Films regularly travels for productions, bringing full production capabilities wherever the work requires.
